Here is some information about our web services, the ones we already have as well as upcoming services.


We offer an open broadband network with several providers and services. This means that you are able to choose between a number of providers and different broadband services such as Internet and IP Telephony. Find out more on the Bostnet website

NB: This applies to most of Bostaden's properties in Umeå – apart from Bullmark, Holmsund and Obbola.


Bostaden has its own, unique television system. It gives you up to nineteen channels in our basic service. In addition, you can choose from three different Tv-suppliers if you want to buy more channels. More information about our TV-offerings.

Text messages for important information 

You as a tenant can sign up for a service that means that you will receive important information from us in text messages. We will for instance send information on planned measures such as power outages, repairs and rebuilding or unforeseen events such as fire and water damage. This allows you as a customer to receive important information concerning your accommodation wherever you are.

Boskolan - School for tenants

If you are about to rent a flat for the first time, you may want to know how it works. Therefore we have created a guide that will advise you what to think about as a tenant, your rights and responsibilities and what this kind of accommodation can offer. Living expenses

Sometimes it can be hard to know what type of flat is suitable to you and your economy. With that in mind, we have developed a spreadsheet service that you as an applicant can use to find the right accommodation. It is easy to use and the information you enter into it is not saved.
