Umeå Energi will turn off the district heating
The district heating will be turned off on Sunday, June 17th at 9 pm until Wednesday, June 20 at 6 am. This concerns our tenants living in Carlshem, Ålidhem, Ålidhöjd, Tunnelbacken and Sofiehem.
What does it mean for me as a tenant?
This means that the heat in your apartment or single room will be turned off completely. You will also lack hot water during this time. However, you will still be able to use your washing machine and dishwasher as usual.
Shower and swimming vouchers by post
Umeå Energi will send out more information about this and showering and swimming vouchers to Umeå Simhall, Umelagun at Nydala, Ersboda Bad & Gym or Strandbadet at Umeå Camping. If you have not received any vouchers, please contact the Umeå Energi customer service at 090-16 10 00.
Why is the district heating turned off?
The district heating is turned off because Umeå Energi will be renewing the district heating network to be able to secure the long term supply of heat and hot water.
